Serbia have developed into a strong side and they should not be underestimated at the World Cup and neither should their odds.
Serbia have some really good players in their team from top European clubs and it would be a surprise if they were not good enough to make the knockout stages, especially as Ghana and Australia do not look as good as Serbia.
Serbia should be able to qualify from Group D given that Australia are not in the same league and Ghana, who might have given them a fight, will now miss star player Michael Essien, but Germany are the clear best team in Group D and should win it, leaving just the runners up spot for Serbia.
Serbia have some great defenders including Ivanovic from Chelsea and Vidic from Man Utd and Ghana have very few players capable of scoring at this level, particularly since Michael Essien was ruled out the World Cup. This is a confident bet with Serbia conceding only five goals against many better teams in qualifying.

The best exchange bet on Serbia is to back Serbia to qualify from their group on Betfair. It is fair odds (if not amazing) and means you should have a winning bet before the Second Round gets underway.
Serbia have been assessed well by the spread firms, the best bet is probably to buy their group performance, which should produce a small profit, but there is only limited risk so that is acceptable.
