Group D is one of the hardest groups to call, this means it will be crucial to examine the odds. The teams should be more evenly matched than the bookies think making the outsiders in the group value. Ghana can surprise a few by winning Group D on African soil.
Australia are good value to get second place in the group and could be worth a bet but we think Germany are most likely to grab that second place, simply as it is hard to see a German side not making it of the group.
The winner of Group D will go on to play the runner up in Group C in the Second Round whilst the runner up in Group D will face the winner of Group C.
