Group A is a tough group to call and most will have their money on France to win the group despite struggling to reach the tournament itself. South Africa, Mexico and Uruguay are all capable of winning the group and South Africa, the tournament's hosts, cannot be ignored at their current price. They are deemed least likely of all the teams to win the group which is outrageous considering the outstanding record hosts have at the World Cup.
South Africa are also a very big price to qualify from the group and that also looks worth a bet in Group A. It could also be worth taking on France, they are not fulfilling their potential under Raymond Domenech and coul reproduce their Euro 2008 performance where they were knocked out at the group stage.
The winner of Group A will go on to play the runner up in Group B in the Second Round whilst the runner up in Group A will face the winner of Group B.
