Cameroon used to be one of the best African sides at the World Cup, if not the best but they are not quite the force of old, although they do have one of the best strikers on the planet in the form of Samuel Eto'o.
This is a must win game for Cameroon, with tough matches against Denmark and Holland coming up. Anything but a win against Japan and they may as well pack their bags!
Hard to see where else the goals will come from. 44 goals in 95 caps!

Cameroon did well in qualifying but they will find things a lot harder at the World Cup proper and will need Samuel Eto'o to be in great form.

This could be all over quickly if they dont get that vital win against Japan. Even if they beat Japan, dont panick as it will be tough for Cameroon to qualify with Holland and Denmark in the group.
If they fail to beat Japan in what could be a very tight opening game, they could finish bottom of the group. Even a result against Japan is unlikely to be much help with Holland and Denmark likely to dominate the group.
