Brazil have already secured their place in the knockout stags but need at least a draw to secure first place in the group. First place could mean a meeting with Spain in the next round depending on results from Group H so most people's fancy for the final may take place earlier than expected.
Portugal have failed to score many goals in recent games, that was until they put seven past North Korea. Brazil aren't North Korea though and Portugal are going to find this markedly tougher, their goal difference is likely to see them go through.
Match betting is a massively popular market and the first market most punters choose to look at as your decision in this market is likely to impact all other bets you place on the game.
Brazil will be looking to win this game as favourites and cement a 100% record in the group. Portugal will be wanting to win this game to secure qualification in front of Ivory Coast but they have their work cut out for them despite holding the edge over Brazil in most of their recent encounters. Those were only friendlies and Portugal seem to have regressed since then so they will need to be at the top of their game.
The Asian Handicap is an interesting bet as it usually gives one team a lead that should be enough to cancel out any superiority the favourites for the game have.
This bet has slightly less risk than backing brazil outright as you will get half your stake back if the game is a draw. Brazil should be able to win this game though and whether you bet on this or the match result comes down to how much r

Portugal seem to have become specialists in low scoring games, seven of their last twelve competitive matches have finished with under 2.5 goals and they only conceded five goals. They also scored most their goals against weaker opposition so could struggle to score at all against Brazil.
Brazil may have had more over 2.5 games than unders in their qualifying campaign but that is to be expected considering how weak some of the opposition were. Brazil are not the all out attacking team they were under previous management regimes and that shows with ten cleans sheets out of seventeen and also with them failing to score in more than a third of their qualifying games. This game will most likely have no more than two goals making under 2.5 goals a good bet. Brazil winning 2-0 is not impossible but 1-0 looks a better bet, Portugal have not conceded a goal in seven competitive matches so conceding two goals could be unlikely.
Some of the most fun markets to bet on are the player markets, such as first goalscorer and anytime goalscorer. They are usually relatively big odds and can give plenty of reward if you pick correctly.
Brazil will be missing Kaka who looked extremely unlucky to be sent off agaisnt Ivory Coast. Elano could also miss the game having been stretchered off in the same match so expect a few changes for Brazil in midfield. Deco is expected to undergo a late fitness test for Portugal having missed the North Korea match.
Luis Fabiano is definitely the biggest goal threat for Brazil and although Nilmar does also carry some goal threat he is unlikely to get a start. Luis Fabiano's extra experience will probably just give him the edge and he rates a very good bet to score first, he took his goals very well against Ivory Coast and will carry that confidence further into the tournament as he bids to become the World Cup Golden Boot.
The latest tips that include the half time result in them, some of the most popular bets here are half time result and half time/full time.
Brazil were winning eight of their qualifying games at half time and were drawing eight, so no real trend there, but they face Portugal were losing just one of theirs at half time which shows how hard they can be to breakdown so the game will probably still bo goalless at half time, before Brazil score in the second half.
It is clear that Portugal have a strong defence and that they are hard to break down. They will know if they keep the score down against Brazil then Ivory Coast have to match or more likely beat their scoring exploits against North Korea. This means Portugal could be very defensive and that means Brazil are unlikely to get the breakthrough until the second half.
